Maven MI-210 UV-LED R

The MI-210 UV-LED R is a 395 nm UV-LED ink built for LED-cured machines running Ricoh Gen5 and Gen6 heads, used in place of Mimaki LUS-120, Marabu UltraJet DLE-JX and InkTec JETRIX ULE. It is validated on the MF-2513 R8, MH-3200 R12 and MF-1216 R4. The eight-channel set includes white and varnish, and final adhesion is reached 24 hours after printing. The 1 litre bottle ships with its channel chip; the 600 ml pouch feeds bulk tanks. Changing over requires rebuilding the colour profile.

• MavenCure LED 395 — a photoinitiator system matched to the 395 nm LED band, curing at low lamp temperature. That is what keeps thin film and heat-sensitive sheet from moving dimensionally; final adhesion is measured after the 24-hour post-cure, not off the machine.
• DeepStack Pigment Load — light cyan and light magenta channels cut graininess in skin tones and light grey transitions. All eight channels come from one series, so adding white and varnish does not force a rebalance of the colour build.
• MavenWhite High Opacity — the white is tuned for circulated supply systems and gives single-hit opacity. Budget for the speed cost: colour-white-colour work runs at roughly a third of colour-only output.
• CrystalGloss Varnish Layer — varnish prints as a spot channel, giving either a gloss accent over a matt surface or a raised, tactile finish. It has to be built as a separate layer in the artwork.
• ColorMatch Profile Package — the changeover class is Switch and Match. Per-channel linearisation, total ink limit and the ICC profile are all rebuilt. Plan half a day of calibration; skip it and the drift shows first in corporate deep blues and oranges.
